Welcome to the graduation information pages. Graduation is a chance to celebrate all that you have acheived throughout your University life with your family, friends and staff, and we hope you have an enjoyable day.
The main information you need to make your graduation day a success can be accessed by clicking on the individual tabs below but you can also use the hyperlinks on the left of the left of the page to find out what will happen and when, before, during and after your graduation day. In addition, please note the key dates for the forthcoming ceremonies.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students who are scheduled to complete courses before 17 October are invited to the November 2014 graduation ceremonies. In order to attend you must register your own place and pay for any guest tickets by the deadline of 11.55pm on 14 October 2014 (even if your final results have not been announced). Please note: the invitation is not an indication that you have qualified for the award of a degree.
Booking will open at 10am on 24 September and will close at 11.55pm on 14 October and it is not possible to book at any other time. Failure to book your place may result in you and your guests not being able to attend the ceremonies. To book your place, log into your My Details account and open your ceremony intray message.

Due to limited capacity, you may only apply for up to two guests tickets in the graduation ceremony venue when you book your place. At the end of the booking process you will be directed to the online store to make a payment. Payment must be made by 11.55pm on 14 October 2014 to guarantee tickets for the main graduation ceremony. Tickets not paid for by the deadline will go on general release in a resale.

It is compulsory to wear academic dress at ceremonies and you cannot participate without it. Academic dress comprises of gown, hood and mortarboard, and denotes your university and the title of your award.
W M Northams is our official academic dress provider. Gown hire will open the same day as invitations are issued and orders must be placed by 28 October. Order your gowns online, call 0870 2401852 (9am – 5pm Monday to Friday - national rates apply) or textphone (for deaf and hard of hearing) 1800101 223 861 854 to access the RNID Typetalk system.

To ensure that ceremonies are fully utilised, they are oversubscribed at the invitation stage to take into account students who do not pass or choose not to attend. Therefore, depending on pass and attendance rates, some ceremonies may have additional tickets available and other ceremonies will not. Wherever additional tickets are available they will be put on sale.
Spare tickets for main venues will be available from 9am on or around 21 October until 11.55pm on 22 October via the online store. An email confirming the date and time of release will be issued nearer the time.
In addition, we have a live video link to the George Buckley Lecture Theatre so guests can watch the ceremony via a video stream on campus. It does not allow guests to watch via their own computers from other locations. Video link tickets will be released at 9am on or around 27 October until 11.55pm on 28 October via the online store.

You can have a celebratory photograph taken by a professional photographer from Success Photography, sponsors of our annual Student Voice Conference.
You may like to make use of the online pre-booking service designed to save time on the day, give you access to a wider choice of photography packages and allow you to book a studio time that suits you. Alternatively, you can choose your package and pay on the day.
In addition, a Success photographer will be present in the hall during the ceremonies, and, circumstances permitting, a photograph of your award being conferred on the stage will be available as a free download from the Success website.

On the day of your ceremony you will firstly need to register and collect tickets from the registration room. Entry to both award ceremony venues is strictly by ticket only and admission will be refused to non-ticket holders.
You should arrive on campus 1½ hours before the ceremony starts and you and your guests must be seated in St Paul's Hall before the latest time shown in the schedule. Once the hall doors are closed and the ceremony has begun there will be no further admittance to students or guests.

The ceremonies will take place from Monday 13 to Friday 24 July 2015. Please note that it is still possible that these dates will change. A full timetable will be published in January 2015.
The November 2015 ceremonies will take place between Monday 9 and Thursday 12 November 2015; however, please note that it is still possible for these dates to change. A full timetable will be published in August 2015.
